About Jake DeJarnett

Jake DeJarnett

  • A musician and a producer, Jake DeJarnett has a way of capturing the vision and beauty of each song, and laying down bass lines that are both engaging and professional. Whether it be pop, blues, gospel, or jazz, Jake has the ability to mold his tone to any setting necessary to complete the sound.

  • Along with producing remotely or in studio settings, Jake’s true passion is traveling as a bassist with groups and artists such as Lydia Ingegneri, Awaken Ministries International and Kellie and Kristen.

  • Jake DeJarnett opened his studio, DeJarnett Studios, in 2013 in determination to capture songs of many genres. DeJarnett Studio sprouted from Jake's ceaseless desire to collaborate with artists of varying tastes, and styles. He began teaching guitar at the age of seventeen, to underpin the beginning of his newly found interest and burgeoning career as a session bassist and producer. During that time he played and learned from world renowned artists such as Ray Riendaeu; renowned bassist for Rob Halford. And Caleb Quaye; long time guitarist for Elton John. Today, over ten years later, his experience has brought him to local prominence as a professional bassist in Nashville, Tennessee.
